Frequently asked questions
How does Habitat Compass pick cities for me?
A free standard test (32 original situational-judgment personality items, 8 lifestyle questions and 16 interest tags) feeds a three-tier engine — hard-constraint filtering, then preference 42% + personality 30% + interest 18%, plus boosters — which scores all 270 cities on 11 dimensions and returns your Top 5.
How much does it cost, and do I need an account?
It is entirely free with no signup. Everything runs in your browser; no data leaves your device.
Can I go deeper than the standard test?
Yes — after the standard test you can optionally continue with a deep test: a Big Five forced-choice profile (30 facets), 12 extra lifestyle items, a risk profile and a RIASEC interest portrait, for a richer report.
